Walang Hiya Project Submission Guidelines:

All forms of art, such as writing, photography, visual art, and film are accepted by this collective!
 

Send all submissions to walanghiyaproject@gmail.com.
 

• DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: The 27th of each month at 11:59 PST. The collective will re-open every 6th of each month, giving you three full weeks to send in your work every time. If there are any changes to this time frame, you will be notified.
   

• Submissions must include the names of and short descriptions of each piece, your pronouns, a brief author bio, and any social media handles you wish to be credited by. Please also include any warnings if your work contains any sensitive subjects (ex: sexual assault, self-harm/suicide, nudity, etc)!
   

• Documents must be sent as a .doc/.docx or .pdf file. 
   

• Written submissions must be no more than 1,200 words. Fiction and non-fiction are both accepted! Send no more than 2 prose pieces. 
   

• Send no more than 4 poems at a time. Poems must have 15 lines minimum to be accepted.
   

• Video submissions must be no more than 10 minutes. Send no more than 1 video. 
   

• Photography and art must be sent as .jpeg/jpg files. Send no more than 5 photos/artwork at a time. 
   

• Music/audio files must be sent as .mp3 files, or in video format (ex: video with cover art and the song playing along with it). Send no more than 1 audio file at a time.
   

• Guidelines vary when the collective is looking for submissions based on a theme, and you will be notified of these changes when each theme is presented.
   

• If you would like to submit work that has been published in another mag/website, etc. before, please include that in your email so Walang Hiya can ask permission from them/contact them. If the same piece gets published somewhere else, please let Walang Hiya know as well! 
   

• You can definitely always email Walang Hiya if you change your mind about publishing a piece or a piece that has already been published (ex: if you want to take it out of the collective). Let us know!
